Dave Blount has been part of the Colonial team for 19 years. With over 15 years of field experience before moving into an operations management role, Dave has in-depth knowledge of the product, operations, and client interactions. Today, Dave has operations responsibility for wall projects, including resourcing, product logistics, project management, and installation. He manages a skilled team of 10 foremen and at times up to 40 installers on a day-to-day basis. Dave enjoys spending time at his children’s athletic games and working on home improvement projects in his spare time.
Patrick Hartigan joined Dave and the Colonial team in 2021 as the Director of Specialty Services. His responsibilities on the architectural wall team include project management, estimating, and client services. Patrick also focuses on new business initiatives for Colonial Systems. Patrick brings two decades of experience in the office furniture installation industry to his current role, including field and operations management expertise. When Patrick is not at work, he can be found woodworking or enjoying his lake boat in NH with his family.
Colonial Systems got involved in architectural wall systems (a.k.a. AWS or demountable) in the early adoption phases in Boston over 20 years ago. Since then, we have become the largest installer of AWS in New England.
We have multiple crews and foremen specializing in this product type. Colonial Systems is the only installation company with an AWS Superintendent who ensures consistency across all crews and maintains proper training and certification levels with the various manufacturers.
