ARCHITECTURAL

Colonial Systems got involved in architectural wall systems (a.k.a. AWS or demountables) in the early adoption phases in Boston over 20 years ago. Since then, we have become the largest installer of AWS in New England.

We have multiple crews and foremen specializing in this product type and we are the only installation company with an AWS Superintendent who ensures consistency across all crews and maintains proper training and certification levels with the various manufacturers.

WAREHOUSE
& LOGISTICS

Customers rely on Colonial Systems for our proven experience, methods, and technology to provide the logistical services needed to bring together all the products from around the world that are required to meet their design goals. They rely on us to then pre-sort, pre-assemble, and redeliver and stage those thousands of items at the job site in the sequence needed for a just-in-time installation schedule.

Our new 150,000 square foot operations center enables us to receive multiple floors of furniture in advance from multiple manufacturers and then assemble, load and transport product sets in a delivery sequence that makes sense for the general contractor and our installers.

Our fleet of over 20 “box” trucks allows us to convert tractor trailer shipments that oftentimes cannot fit into building loading docks to be redelivered around the clock during off hours to maintain tight project schedules.

Our warehousing service stands ready to securely store your products until the job site is ready to properly receive them. We can store everything from entire truckloads of glass wall units to thousands of workstations and chairs.
